When the Hard Things Are the Good Things

There is a bar down the street from me that has a sign that says, "Free beer tomorrow."

It cracks me up every time I read it.

And, it reminds me that you can't put off the good things in life.

Sometimes the good things are fun with your family and friends.

And sometimes the good things are doing the hard things at work... writing, talking to prospects, helping clients make progress, writing a sales page, launching a new project.

I don't know about you, but I feel fantastic when I do one of the hard things on my task list.

The sense of pride and accomplishment stays with me for hours.

And, most days, it feels just as rewarding as getting paid for the work.

As you look at your task list today, do the hard work first. You're gonna be so glad you did.

Then you can enjoy a probably-not-free beer today.
