The Season of Teenager-ness

Beth and I just came home from a 10-day vacation in Canada.

When I walked in the door, I stopped in my tracks.

My sweet puppy Owen greeted me at the door, feet on my shoulders, slobbering tongue all over my face.

Ten days before, he knew better than to jump on me. He always greeted me with all four feet on the floor.

Now, he's suddenly a teenager, testing my boundaries and generally being a royal jerk much of the time.

Did I mention that he weighs seventy pounds and he's just six months old?

Yeah, we are in for a rough few months ahead.

But I know this is just a phase in his growth, and it will pass with patience and consistent training.

The same is true for your business.

It goes through growth phases and lulls as it adapts to the market you sell to.
