Making it Harder Than it Has to Be

As you might know, we have five animals - 4 cats and an enormous puppy.

We live in a city that requires an annual license and proof of rabies vaccination for each.

The license fee is only $10/pet, so that's no big deal.

The pain in the butt is that each animal is on a different schedule, meaning I get four separate notifications.

Of course, each one requires me to write a check (seriously, in 2026?) and mail in a form with a copy of the rabies certificate.

It seems to me that it would take a whole lot less effort to group the animals by owner name and address, send one bill, and process one form and payment.

The city is making compliance harder than it needs to be.

I see a lot of businesses making it hard for clients to work with them as well.

If a credit card payment fails, do you make it simple for a client to update it without having to call?

If a password is forgotten, can your client get it reset easily?

Can your clients easily find access to what they have purchased?
