I have always been an avid reader.
I love learning new things, especially about business. My office used to be full of books I'd read.
But I realized, while I loved reading those books, there were always so many other recommended books I wanted to get to.
There just weren't enough hours in the day to read (or even listen to) all the books on my list.
That's when I discovered
Shortform.
It's an app that gives you detailed summaries of top books in both written and audio form.
Not only that, but you can highlight and make notes just a a real book.
On top of that, the app adds notes from other books so you can get differing perspectives on a topic.
I love the one-page summaries to help me decide if I want to dive into the deeper chapter summaries.
I love that I can listen to books while I'm on my morning walk, when I'm getting ready for the day or when I'm at the gym.
Granted, the narrators aren't as excited about the books as an author reading it might be.
But all in all, it's a perfect way for me to gather a lot of knowledge on topics of interest in a very convenient format.
Oh, and the notes you jot down and highlight? You can export them to your favorite storage place so you don't have to log in to see them.
I have the annual membership and consider it a worthwhile investment of my time and money.
Let me know how you like to get the best business info in your world.
